Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	My Grandfather [Leslie Leggett DOB 23/08/1914] was born in Chingford, Essex. His mother was [Kate Clark] formerly [Leggett] a boarding house proprietress in Forest Side, Chingford according to his birth certificate. No mention of the father! Kate's husband I believe may have been Arthur Benning Clark? This is the point where my family tree runs cold! Can anyone shed any further light!
