My mother was Caroline Merryweather who died in 1975. She was one of 12 children of William and Maud of Arthur Street, Battersea. six girls, Maud, Ada, Henrietta, Caroline, Lilian and Rose and six boys, William, Walter, Ernest who was killed in the first world war,Alfred, Henry(known as Harry) and Charles, (known as Wag). In 1948 the family was voted the biggest family in Battersea and Grandfather Merryweather and all the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren went to the cinema Clapham Junction. If any of this rings any bells with anyone I would love to hear from you.
