Hi my name is Claire Laura Cade. Im 20 years old and am looking to see how far back/away my relatives stretch to. If anyone can help me i would be most Grateful, here are a few details of the history i know so far in my life. The oldest relative i knew was my Grandad George Cade 1940-2001 he had 5 Children and his eldest son is my father David Cade. My great grandparents died when i was fairly young so i dont really remember them clearly. My grandad had quite a few brothers and sisters and to be honest i probably dont think i know/remember them all. As far as i can remember when he was a teen he lived in Wyke Bradford. Also i have heard that the cades used to be romany gypsies and that my great grand parents were the first cades to live in a house (whether this is true or not im not sure) if anyone thinks/knows they know any of my family on my Grandad/Fathers side could you please get in touch.
