Haydn Report 10 Apr 2003 23:22

I am very much a beginner at my family tree and unfortunately to date have little information on my fathers side (Punter) As a child I recall visiting relatives that I believe were my fathers Aunt and Uncle. The man was called William 'Will' Punter. He farmed in the Burton-on-Trent area and lived in a village/small town called Linton. Linton I think is near Swanlincote. The farm was named 'Home Farm'. William Punter had a son called Reginald who was married to Eunice. I have no further information concerning her. I believe that the farm is no longer in existence and that all traces of the family have either died or left the area. Reginal and Eunice did not have any children. I would be very pleased to hear from any person with information about the family. My paternal grandfather (Henry Herbert Punter) might have been a brother of William Punter the farmer
