Philip Henry Monaghan Trying to find any family of Philip Henry Monaghan who died as a POW in Singapore in 1944. He was married to Jane Monaghan nee Culbert of Wicklow Ireland and had 3 children, Philip, Eileen and John. Jane died in 1947 leaving the children orphaned but looked after by relatives in Wicklow Ireland. It is believed that Philip came from Sunderland and was enlisted into the army through the Territorial Army in 1941 in the South. The book of condolences state that his parents were living in Bedford and the time of his death.
