In response to Deborah Presfords message, I have the name Myerscough in my family. My late maternal grandmother was born Mary Myerscough on 28/09/1891, she was the daughter of John Charles Myerscough b:1862 & Sarah (Fox) b: 1867. She had a number of siblings inc Albert, Anne, James Edward & Arthur. Sarah & John were married on 19/02/1887 at the Church of the Holy Infant, Sharples, Bolton, Lancs. Johns father was also called John, but I have no date of birth yet, his mother Ann (maiden name unknown) was born in 1833. Sarahs father was Anthony Fox, a painter from Bolton Lancs born 1835, he married Esther Murphy born 1837, at Manchester Cathedral on 28/06/1856. I don't know if this is any use to you, but feel free to use it if it is. Also if there is a family connection I would be grateful for any info you can share. Regards Carole |
