Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am looking for any info regarding the residents of Kirkdale Union Workhouse School around 1881. My great grandfather is listed on the 1881 census as an inmate aged 11. I have been to the records office at Liverpool but they can't seem to help me. If anyone knows where I can find out why he was in there and at what age he left I would be eternally grateful as I am at a complete standstill with this branch of my tree. Regards Carole Steel.
