FRED SMITH born in Ipswich - possibly between 1910-1919? - younger brother of James Albert Smith [b.1898?]- my grandfather- who settled in Poole. Fred joined the Royal Navy and fought in the 2nd WW - he wrote a book in the late 1990s - called 'Grandad's War'. He married Eileen - I think they live in the Malvern area or possibly Marlbourough. I think they may have children in the Southampton area. I would like to hear from any relatives or anyone who thinks they may know Fred or Eileen. |
