I am trying to trace my family tree and would be most grateful for any info. about my Grandmother's family. She was Lily Shaw born 1900 in Gateshead. Her father was Hugh Shaw, an Iron Worker & her mother Louisa Shaw formerly Clarke. Family legend says her brother was a clergyman who married her to my Grandfather, Charles Basil Dean Terry. I believe there is a family connection to the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle and to Methodist or Quaker religios groups. Does this ring any bells? Jo Brown |
