Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 2 Send Message	My name is Carolyn Barr Swann, I was born in 1942 in Sale, the daughter of Elsie and Thommy Swann. My Mother was a Joel of Stockport, she was the daughter of William Stanley Joel & Elizabeth Joel (nee Bessie Bryden). They had a Greengrocers shop. There were 2 brothers, Eric(1902)& William Stanley(Stanley 1914?). I know that Stanley had 3 children, 2 boys,1 girl, are they out there? Eric had 1 son,died last December. Mother had 2, Anthony Barr Swann, and me. 1 brother Roy died in 1941. I know little or nothing about the Joels, does anyone out there know more.
