Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	I am trying to locate my grandfathers place of birth. His name is William Norman Stirland and his date of birth is 18th September 1891. He lived in Middlesbrough from his early teens. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you. I have since found out that my great grandfather, Williams father , Samuel Stirland was married in Whitehaven,Cumbria. His father was Zecharia Stirland , who originally came from Dronfield in Derby.
