Member Since: December 2002 Posts: 2 Send Message	The Steward family can trace their ancestors back to the ancient terrotories of Scotland between the 11th and 12th Centuries. Through the centuries the Steward family was affiliated with many different clans through marriage. The clan Stewart claims the Steward family as a sept or directly affiliated family, entitled to clan rights including the use of the Stewart clan tartan.
