Hello, I've got stuck at the point where my Callaghans move from Ireland to Glasgow, Scotland. Owen Callaghan marries Agnes Hannan in 1874, when he describes himself as 50, however, on the 1901 census, he describes himself as 61?! I cannot find any information on Owen Callaghan, pre-1874, other than his parents being Owen Callaghan and Mary McDonald and that he was born in Ireland. If anyone knows how to help me make this jump across the Irish sea or think that they have any links to these Callaghans, any help would be much appreciated. |
