Born 1909 possibly in Oldham, thought to have deceased brother George.Victim of polio and had left arm amputated before 1950. Prevoius marriage dissolved. Worked at RAE in Farnbrough 56-60. Lived together with 2nd wife Alice married in 1965 possibly been awaiting divorce. Two children, Shiela born 1949 died 1950 of meningitis, Shirley born 1951, in Aldershot.
