Member Since: August 2004 Posts: 16 Send Message	James Thomas White-Hackney/Shoreditch area. i am trying to research my grandfather James Whites' family, without much luck. he was born 1870s or 1880s in Hackney, Hoxton or Shoreditch. he was a bookie' ( illegal back then ) and he married a woman called Nancy. His family may have owned a newsagents shop in the Hoxton/Shoreditch area. He gave my nan six children but never married her, so my dad and his brothers and sisters never wanted to know him. i would love to hear from anyone who could help me, as i have no address or anything.
