Hi,i a am looking to trace family from aberdeen.My connection is through my fathers, father who was called james alexander copland.I have one aunt who is obviously my farthers sister ,who is called diane.My grandfather left aberdeen when he was about 14 to 15 yrs,told the navy in portsmouth he was older and joined up.Later in life he married my grandmother who was from west sussex area and she was called by her nick name `maisey`.From vague info given to me by my auntie my grandfather also had several sisters of which she could only recall a nickname of oogie ????.If any of this info rings a bell,please dont hesatate to get in touch. |
