Find Ancestors

Hi I'm trying to find any info on my nanas family. Her name was Florence Mary Allon, her married name was Steward. She had 3 children their names are Mary, Bernard & Patricia. Patricia is my mother, Florence was her mother. Florence's mother was called MARY FRANCE & her dad was called FRDERICK WILLIAM ALLON. Any help please as I have come to a halt with this side of the family.

There is only one Allon / France marriage, so these are probably all their children ..... born after the census was taken in 1911.

I think this is his baptism, despite the misspelling of his name ..... I think the transcribers have mis-read AllOn as AllEn.

get Frederick's birth certificate as the first thing to do, and get the full name of his mother.

Just in case you wonder why I've also posted Allen .............. one can never be sure hat a name will always be spelled correctly.


The marriage registration most definitely say Allon married Wressel .............. but the censuses are another matter!
