Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 1 Send Message	Hello All - My name is Marie Shaw-Westgaard and I am against a brick wall with the Shaw line. I have my great Grandfather, Andrew Shaw or in 1832 in either Ireland or Scotland, son of Samuel Shaw and Elizabeth. Samuel died in 1834, after his other son David was born. Andrew was married to Agnes Haney (born 1829 in Portpatrick possibly). They married 24 Feb 1852 at StoneyKirk, Wigtown, Scotland and then came to Canada where they settled in Wapella, Saskatchewan and had 6 daughters: Mrytle, Cecelia, Agnes, Elsie, Mable and Irene and 2 sons, John and Ernest (my father). If anyone has any information on this family, I would greatly appreciate any help I can get! Thank you. I am also stuck on another family. John Thomson - born 1817 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Married to Barbara Stephen (born 15 April 1823 also in Aberdeenshire) they both died in Wapella, Saskatchewan. Any help greatly accepted! Thanks!
