karen peat 11/10/2006 hi I am looking for my grandfathers /mothers family his name is Leonard Charles Mills 1911 or there abouts was married to Eileen Anges Mills . Len was killed in a pit fall at Frickley pit ,Doncaster ,Yorkshire Oct 16 1936,with two other men Mr Danks and Mr Bassindale.Len was only 25 and had only been there for about 3 weeks ,before that he lived at Hucknall, Notts.I know Eileen married again to a Mr Bill Hancock and had a daughter called Pat born 1946 .My dad is John Mills and after his dad was killed went to live with his grandparents at Hucknall Notts |
