Hi there, this is all new to me but I am hoping to get some information. My maiden name was Walton and I was born in a village called Rous Lench, Nr Evesham, Worcestershire. My Nan - the most wonderful Nana in the world - died several years ago and I was unable to ask her about my Grandad, mainly because I knew it would have upset her. His name was William but I think people called him Billy. He left my Nan when my Dad was 21-ish(he is now 66!). All I know about him is his name, and that I believe he went to live in America, it is possible I may have a family out there that I know nothing about and that is why I would like to trace him, I understand from my Dad that he may be dead - he had this message from someone years ago to say he died, but that could be wrong! If anyone out there has any info at all about a William/Billy Walton who originated from Rous Lench (don't know if he was born there) and left to go to America then could you please contact me. Thanks |
