William Ash from Ireland. I am trying to find any information I can about my Great Grandfather who migrated from County Antrim with his wife whose name was Ellen Kelty, and their 3 children. The children were Elizabeth born c1867, Mary born c 1869 and James born c1872. The travelled on the ship 'Ramsey' and arrived in Moreton Bay, Brisbane in June 1873. I have no information about the family before their arrival in Australia and would love to know the origins of the family. I am led to believe the name could have come from a different spelling, perhaps Aishe, Aish, Esse or Ashe. Because of the difficulty of accessing Irish Genealogy and the distance, I am at a dead end. I have also been told that the D'Esse Court or Bellesme Lines may be able to assist. If anyone has a spare minute or twenty, I would love to hear from you. Maybe you are looking for the connection in Australia and I can help from this end. Thank you in anticipation. Lyn
