Any mention of badgers in relation to Brogden is misleading, as is mention of mispelling Bogden. None are related in any way. Brogden is Anglo-Saxon, equating to Brookes Dene or Valley of the Brook. records appear to show that the spread of the name remains consistant with a single source and to a single family. So on the face of it, all Brogdens are related.... |
