Member Since: June 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	I am looking for Frederick Ashman (and his family) who married Lilian Fairclough in 1906 (he was 34) at Clacton onSea. I believe he died c1918. His father's name was Henry. The only entry I can find, which may relate, is in the 1881 census. Henry is the head and their address is Church Farm, Hawstead, Suffolk. I think the placename may have been mis-spelt, and perhaps should be Harkstead. If this rings any bells with you, please let me know.
