Hello Darren My wife's maiden name was Lack. She is the eldest of 4 sisters born to William Albert Lack and Irene Martha Jane Davies. William Albert Lack had two brothers and three sisters. The brothers were Jack and Edward (Ted), both were married and had only daughters. The sisters were Florence, Elsie and Susan. Their Father was William James Lack and their Mother Louisa Kelly. William James Lack's Father was George Lack and his Mother was Sarah Anne Roffey. George Lack's Father was Daniel Lack, but we haven't managed to get any further than that at this stage. If any of this ties in with any of your family I'd be very pleased to hear from you about it. We live in Australia so it's a bit difficult to research family stuff from over here. The message boards on the main genealogy sites seem to cater almost exclusively for USA interests, so Genesconnected is a breath of fresh air. Look forward to hearing from you. Tony Ruhl |
