Had a grant of the town and castle of grange . has a tablet in his memory in the church of Ahamplish Glebe. ( not sure of spelling ) Sligo. 1704 : JAMES SODEN B.1704 d.1749. OF Grange county sligo. High sheriff 1736 and of Bally davi? county donegal. Entered trinity college dublin may 14 1725?. 1730? : REV CLOBWORTHY SODEN scholar,trinity college dublin 1755. BA 1754 archdeacon of derry 1786-1795.
