Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	My grandmother Mary Docherty was born in Glasgow in 1898 and went on to marry Thomas Beattie (a widower). They moved to Leeds where they both lived out their lives. Her mother was called Margaret Donnelly and her father was called Thomas Docherty.As far as I can make out she had several siblings. An older sister called Catherine but known as Kate born in 1893, a brother, Patrick d.o.b. 1894, a brother ?James d.o.b.1891, a younger brother Hugh ? d.o.b. and a sister Margaret d.o.b. about 1908 but I don't know whether there were any more siblings.
