Rodney Family in Scotland I am researching the Rodney family in Scotland and in Particular the family of James( or John ) Rodney and Sarah Devlin who came to Scotland from Ireland between 1844 and 1850.I have collected a considerable quantity of information on the family up to the present time amd am in contact with the family in Canada, America, Australia and New Zealand. The family history before 1844 is sketchy but from Death Certificates it appears that James Rodney's father also James appears to have a strong connection with the Methodist Church in Ireland.
