My branch of the St Julien family are from Co.Durham. I have traced us back to my Great grandfather Paul Francis St.Julien. He ws born around 1862 in Charleston USA, and married my greatgrandmother Emma Louisa Dennison in 1886. They had 9 children. I am trying to trace the family back to Charleston and that at the moment is proving difficult. There are various rumours about name changes, but the best lead so far is a branch of St.Julien's that originate in Bordeaux France. They escaped to America during the French Revolution, and settled in Louisianna and South Carolina.
