Anson family of Brantingham e.yorkshire. Father one of 5 children of Lawrence A.Anson and Violet E.Anson (nee Rodgers) parents of Lawrence Beatrice Anson(who was later married and became watson after the birth)name of Lawrences father is unknown.Violets parents were emily Rodgers and John Cussins(maybe Cousins)of march in cambridgeshire.their children took her name as his family disinherited him for his liason with Emily. Ansons came to Brantingham when Joseph left Goole and went to live there in the 1800s,his son John was my ancestor and William was the other brother. My great grandmother Beatrice had a sister Annie who had an illegitimate son Reginald who may have moved to Redcar. I am currently seeking decendents of Beatrice ,who would have been called Watson in the greenfields area of Manchester and of Reginalsd Anson in the Redcar area. Kathryn Anson. |
