visited the house in London that my great grandad James Edward lived in 1901 census - 30 ponsonby terrace, westminster. Married Mary and had four children Harriet, Alice, Frederick and my grandad Alfred. Think have found his father George Harwood Born 1839 and married Elizabeth (nee?)Hawood (born 1836 in Hampshire)They had two children: Charles born 1875 and James 1870. They all lived at 63 Ponsonby Close, Westminster in 1891 Have discovered that James committed suicide in later years after going mad. This could have been because he was a painter and I believe that paint at the time contained lead. Does anyone know where I would look up records for suicides as I am sure they will not be in parish records and I have drawn a blank. Many thanks
