Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	Craze comes from the old Cornish language word "cres" wich means "in the middle". As most people were illiterate the spelling depended on the parish recorder's interpretation of the phonetic sound. In the Cornish language dictionary it is also given to mean "peace".
