Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	My father did a bit of detective work on this,and found indeed originaly, the name was Van Doel. He found it was a dutch name, and that our ancestors sailed from Holland to England, during the boom in the woolen industry, and cloth mills, in the south of the country.
