Lawrie/Laurie/Lowrie The family I am interested in are to be found mainly in the Ardnamurchan area of North Argyllshire in Scotland. In the main they were leadminers employed in the mines around Strontian.Timescale 1760-1860. About 1830-50 the family migrated to other areas of North Argyll and I have gained a fair knowledge of these families from whom I am descended.
