Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 41 Send Message	The latin family motto is Nil Nisi Patria which I was once told means 'ruled by nothing and no-one' but the girl who told me had a pint in her hand so could be innacurate in her translation. It is Anglo Saxon in derivation and probably comes from 'hind' a hired hand for farmwork and 'march' being border land. Sorry if someone has already posted this information. AJH
