HI EVERYONE, I AM LOOKING FOR ANYONE WITH A CONNECTION TO MY GREAT GRANDPARENTS. I KNOW THAT THEY HAD A DAUGHTER CALLED MARY ANN (MY GRANDMOTHER) AND A SON CALLED JAMES WHO STAYED IN CLOSEBURN ST IN 1938, THAT IS THE ADDRESS ON MY GREAT GRANDFATHER'S DEATH CERTIFICATE. THANKS HELEN I FORGOT TO ADD THAT AT THE TIME OF MY FATHER'S BIRTH THEY SPELT SURNAME AS COLLIGAN, WHEN THEY MOVED TO CALDARVAN ST IN HAMONTONHILL THEY SPELT IT AS McCOLLIGAN/McCOLIGAN AND ON MY GRANDFATHER'S DEATH CERTIFICATE IT HAD McCOLLIGAN OTHERWISE McCOLGAN. I found 1901 census and the children are Hugh born 1881- Mary Anne born 1886-James born 1893- Ellen born 1897. |
