i was born as karen ann barr, i know my dad, edward matthew barr, was born in barnsley at some point around 55 years ago; he moved away at an early age to train to be a jockey and ended up in coventry in the late 60's..his mum's name was mary, don't know what his dad's name was, ( i do know he had something to do with horse racing/betting shops!) but dad had a big family - sisters joan, jackie(sadly no longer with us) and josie - and one brother kevin. i must have a lot of cousins i have never met! i have 2 half sisters, andrea and adele, from dad's first marriage to a lady called hazel, but would love to know more about the barr family as history is a bit hazy. anyone help??? thanks if you can! karen (now gedney) |
