I AM LOOKING FOR ANY RELATIVES OF HILDA MAY GURNEY C. 1925 MARRIED TO WILLIAM HENRY GRAINGER (MY MOTHER & FATHER) MY FATHER WAS KNOWN AS BILL, AND HE SERVED IN THE NAVY DURING WW2 WITH HIS BROTHER ARTHUR. THEY LIVED IN THE WEST MIDLANDS MAINLY IN THE TIPTON AREA. I BELIEVE THEY WERE PUBLICANS AFTER THE WAR. I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS JUST A CHILD, I ASKED THEM WHAT PUB THEY LIVED AT AND THEY SAID "THE COPPER TOP" IN SMETHWICK, BUT I BELIEVE THIS WAS JUST A NICKNAME FOR THE PUB, IF SOMEONE CAN TELL ME WHAT THE REAL NAME FOR THE PUB, I WOULD BE MOST GRATEFUL. SADLY BOTH MY PARENTS ARE NOW DECEASED. AND I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE KNOWN THEM.
