My mother was Teresa McElroy one of many children of my grandparents who were born in County Fermanagh but moved to Scotland in 1913 I believe when my mother's eldest sister Mary was three. Up until that time the family were living in Cavancarragh, County Fermanagh. My grandmother was Mary Martin from Enniskillen and Grandad was Francis McElroy from Fivemiletown. Their children were Mary , Bridget,(Tilly) Elizabeth(Bessie ) Thomas,Catherine Dympna, Teresa (My mother herself, known as Tessa ) Rose, Margaret, Agnes (Nancy), Andrew. Interested in making the link back to Ireland as we feel sure there are still related McElroys, Martins and possibly Nolans living in Enniskillen.
