Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	My grandmother was born Rose Ellen Hollis in Stockton, Yorks in 1895. She had an older sister, Martha and 2 brothers, John & William. Their father died before my grandmother's birth and their mother remarried to a man called Baskett in 1897. There were then 4 other children, George, Lily, Robert and Mary Rachel. The whole family moved to Littleborough, probably in the first decade of the 20th century, and then to Saddleworth, W. Yorks. maybe in about 1912. Any connections? Especially with William Henry Hollis who lived in Newcastle.
