On the other thread the poster (Christine) says there that Margaret Jane (nee Robinson) had 3 children but the first was not Herbert's

On 28th February, 1919 - Herbert Spencer Short + Amelia had a son Herbert Francis (who I believe is the one who later married Margaret Robinson.)

P.S. - I think I have got your Short's back to the census's but if I put it all on here now and it is the wrong one it will set everyone off on the wrong track as it is quite complex

Im looking for any information about the Shorts in Blackburn, Lancashire. My dad is originally from there, Austin Short, he has 2 brothers, Graham and Leslie, their father was called Derek Short born 1944 died c1985. Derek' mum was called Margaret and i think her maiden name was Robinson but that is as far as i have got.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
