Hi I'm trying to find out what happened to my Great Great Grandmother, Martha Vaughans, family. They came from Calne in Wiltshire - her mother was Jane Carpenter (also from Calne) and her father was William (from Chippenham) She was the youngest of 11 children - William, Mary, Jane, Sarah, Frances (Fanny), Ralph, Charles, Elizabeth, Edgar & Martha. Martha moved to London and I believe Ralph joined the Army. I also know that William moved to Wales - beyond that I know nothing more about this family & would love to hear from anyone whom thinks they may be related Thanks Sarah |

I have a great great g'father, Henry, who was born in Calne 1820. He married Julia Cave from Forest Green. Glouc. and the 1861 census records him as living in Horsley, Stroud. |
