I am ting to find more information on my Grandmother. Violet Irene White born 1909 in Winchester, Hampshire. Her father may have been called Walter John White. Violet was known as Irene White. In 1927 she married Sameul Connor in Arlesford, jsut outside Winchester and then moved back up north to Maryport, Cumbria. In 1940 she split up with Samuel and went off with a man who's surname is Irving, they moved to Salford in Manchester. He then left her in 1944 ad went back to Maryport. my mum thinks she had an Aunt called Myrtle White. Thats all i have, Violet died in 1985 and never remarried. Any information would be great! |
