G'day all. Here's a good one. Trying to find info on a James Laver White born approx.1863(give or take 10 yrs) in either England, London or Dublin! He married a Alice Maud Lord in Australia 1893. His parents were James Laver white (also) and Hannah McDonald. There is a rumour going around the family that he came to Australia in a ship, jumped ship! and changed his name to the above when he married Alice! As you could guess, I can't find anything on him! All the info I have of his birth dates and places were from a marriage certificate and two of his childrens birth cetificates. He managed to jump 10 years in age in afew years, then back 5 in another couple! Talk about your brickwalls!!! Can anyone help? Regards Sandra, South Australia |
