SMART/SMITH HI THERE I AM LOOKING FOR SOME INFORMATION ON MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WILLIAM SMITH (I KNOW I HEAR YOU SAYING NOT AN EASY TASK. WE HAVE AN IDEA HE AND HIS WIFE WERE BOTH BORN IN IRELAND. THE SAID WILLIAM SMITH DIED AT KING EDWARD VII HOSPITAL, WINDSOR ON 9TH MAY 1947. THE DEATH WAS REGISTERED IN WINDSOR BY MY GREAT GRAND FATHER'S STEPSON ONE A. SMART OF GOLDEN STREET, LEICESTER. IT ANYONE HAS ANY FURTHER INFORMATION ON THIS, OR ANY SMART/SMITH CONNECTION, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. MY GRANDFATHER AND GRANDMOTHER WERE BOTH BORN IN LEICESTER, BUT I AM NOT SURE IF THIS INFORMATION IS CONNECTED IN ANYWAY. MANY THANKS PAM X |
