Member Since: August 2006 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am trying to find information about the mother of Louisa Hicks. Louisa was born in Dover in Jan/Feb/Mar 1877. Louisa appears on the 1881 census with her father Edward Hicks and mother Mary Hicks who was born in 1854 in Alderney in the Channel Islands. I have joined Ancestry (although I am struggling with it regarding BMDs) Is there any way that I can find out Mary's maiden name.
