Hello, Im currently looking for info on the fletcher family who lived in Stockingford, Warwickshire. My grandma's side of the family is very big and i cannot find anything anywhere about anyone... My grandmas called Winnifred Mary Fletcher and was born in Stockingford, Warwickshire 1924 and married to Ronald Smith of Leeds and moved to Leeds. She had 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Gordon Fletcher born in 1922-1923 Warwickshire, moved up to Newcastle with wifee. Had a son (Who as far as we know is still alive) to his wife (name unkown) and died in Newcastle. Sydney Fletcher unkown DOB was born in Warwickshire and married Gordon's Wifes sister name also unknown and moved an died in Newcastle they had a daughter. (Who as far as we know is still alive) Walter Fletcher DOB unkown born in Warwickshire, and married a Florence (Surname unkown). They lived on Church Lane, Stockingford. He has 2 sons and 1 daughter. 1 of the sons named Aurbry (Spelling unknown) Fletcher was killed in a motorcycle accident at 21. No other info on other children is known. Frederick Charles Fletcher born on 14/09/1915 at 98 Haunch wood road, stockingford. Kate fletcher - No info known - born in warwickshire Rita and Lilly Fletcher - twins died at 3 and 3 and a half. - Born in warwickshire. Phyliss Fletcher (Born in warwickshire) DOB 1904 who married a James aka Jim Froggett and had Marleen Froggett in 1934. They mother was a Mary Elizibeth WIlson who lived in Warwickshire and was born est 1880 and married to a Frederick Charles Fletcher who was born in Glouchester, nr The forest of Dean in the year 1881. Mary's mother is a Elizibeth Louise Wilson. But have no details of her. and a sister of Frederick Charles Fletcher (The father) had a sister named Ethel Fletcher who lived and died in Glouchester. Sorry for going on...but my family is so big and due to my grandma moving to leeds and rest of family staying in Warwickshire we have never had close contact. My grandma seems to think that my Great cousins maybe still alive. If any one has any info at all please please contact me...Thank-you Emma Kirby |
