Member Since: November 2005 Posts: 1 Send Message	I am trying to trace my grandfather's history. He was born in Galashiels around 1883, he had a brother John who was 2 years older. His parents were Robert Thomson and Jessie nee Forrest they were married in Galasheils 24/12/1880 they were both weavers. My grandfather moved to Greenock and married Mary Lamont in 1910. Does anyone have any information regarding my grandfather? I would appreciate your help. Thanks Janet Higgins.
