Can anyone help me I am looking for info on a Sarah Cadwell born 10-04-1872 at Close House Bishop Auckland Co Durham. She was the only daughter of Thomas Cadwell & Mary Cadwell (Nee Bell) Mary Cadwell died just after Sarah Was Born in 1872 Mary was just 19 years of age. Sarah's Father remarried again to a Mary Ann Gaines in 1873 then Emigrated to Roslyn U S A in 1881/ 1882 . Sarah stayed behind, she was brought up by her Grandmother Sarah Bell wich By now remarried to a Francis Gaines, in 1881 Census. In the Census of 1891 she was a Visitor at the home of Jas & Elizabeth Stephenson in Shildon Nr Bishop Auckland Co Durham at the age of 18 years old. if anyone Can help I will be most great full, as this girl is in our family Bible that was handed down to us. Please look in your Family tree to see if you have a Sarah. Thank's Regards James |
