Trying to find Hickes

I am trying to find information on Thomas Hickes, born c 1806 in Glouscestershire, moved to Cornwall and married Grace Cox Blee and had 4 sons - Thomas James, Edward, Frank and Weston. Thomas was the Surveyor of Roads and County Bridges in Cornwall and the last entry is the 1881 Census which shows him living in Elm Cottage. I do not have a date of death or any info on his parents. I know that after Grace died Thomas remarried to Emma Osler/Blee. I am also unable to find any info on Frank and Weston and would assume that they died at a young age as they appear only in the 1851 Census, but have not been able to find any death dates for them. I have really hit a wall here and would appreciate any imput. Cheers Kath |
