looking for relatives of my grandmother Cecelia White born approx 1914. she an older sister Elizabeth White they were born in Whitehaven Cumbria. Their mother was Margaret Daley and Jack (John) White. They moved to Wombwell, Barnsley. My grandmother Cecelia White married Joseph Hawcroft and had two children Brian and Margaret Hawcroft (my mother). Can anyone help me find the Whites of Whitehaven? My nana always said they should have been called Campbells or was it McDonalds ?? so maybe there was a remarriage somewhere? Any information no matter how remote would be appreciated. |
